The Blue trim truly is the sweet spot for the all-new Tucson. The SEL Convenience starts to get pricey while the Limited is, like the gas-only model, too expensive. It comes with virtually all the features of the gas-only SEL trim but with a much stronger drivetrain and an excellent 38/38/38 MPGe fuel economy figure. It's strange to claim a car can be overloaded, but Hyundai has managed it at the top end of the Tucson range.įor the overall best value for money, we look towards the hybrid drivetrain model in Blue trim. It's hard to justify the N Line appearance package on such an already bold-looking car, and, frankly, the Limited trim is just too expensive for the segment. While cars such as the Toyota RAV4 continue to coast on a good name, the Tucson offers real-world value and is a strong contender in this class.įor the money, the non-hybrid models offer excellent value in base SE and then SEL trim, and if financially viable, we would opt for SEL and add the Convenience Package for desirable features such as the digital gauge cluster, 19-inch wheels, sunroof, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, leather-trimmed steering wheel, and auto-dimming mirror. One complaint would be the lack of punch from the base engine, and we recommend spending the extra cash on a hybrid model to unlock the 1.6-liter engine. The interior reeks of quality and attention to detail, and we appreciate that all 2023 models now feature a slew of standard driver-assistance features. The Tucson is quietly confident, planted, and comfortable. The same can be said for the ride and handling, which is exactly what you want in this class. The 2023 model year is the best Tucson yet, and with good reason: the built quality is out of this world and rivals that of class leaders such as the Mazda CX-5. This Korean manufacturer learns from every new iteration and pays attention to what needs improving. Veracruz will compete primarily with upper midsize crossovers including Honda Pilot, Nissan Murano, Subaru B9 Tribeca and Lexus RX350.After a redesign in 2022, a review of the 2023 Hyundai Tucson shows that it is now an even more powerful force in the highly competitive compact crossover segment. Hyundai had unveiled the Tuscon compact 4x4 in 2004. Veracruz will also feature as standard equipment the Hyundai HideawayTM third-row seat, a simple-to-use 50/50 split fold-into-the-floor seat, offering flexibility for up to seven passengers.Įquipped with a standard 3.8-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission, Veracruz will offer an unprecedented combination of styling, safety, comfort and convenience including available all-wheel drive, standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC), standard side-airbags, as well as side-curtain airbags for all three rows of passengers. Launched in spring 2006, this Santa Fe followed on where the original model left off but it had grown. The ninth vehicle to join Hyundai's 2007 model year lineup, the midsize Veracruz will be larger than Honda Pilot, have more cargo volume than the full-size Mercedes-Benz GL and offer sleek styling, a car-like ride and premium features. In case you've missed it, here's the official Hyundai press release on the 2007 Veracruz plus a few exterior pictures: TrueCar has over 703,490 listings nationwide, updated daily. Looks too simple, too Korean for me, but hey, who'd expect something different anyway. Too be honest though, I can't say that I’m aroused by the looks of it. However, generally the most expensive style is the ute. Oh, boy, those "annoying" camera-phones did it again: they caught the 2007 Hyundai Veracruz with its pant's down. The Hyundai Santa Fe has 4 body styles, with the most popular being the rv/suv.
